We provide comprehensive, collaborative care for children and adults with vascular anomalies. These include hemangiomas, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), lymphatic malformations, venous malformations, capillary malformations, PIK3CA-overgrowth syndrome and other vascular anomalies. We offer a full range of up-to-date treatment options for children, adolescents and adults, including surgical excision, sclerotherapy, embolization, laser treatments, and medications.

Vascular Tumors:

  • Infantile Hemangioma: Cluster of blood vessels that show up usually a few weeks after birth
  • Congenital Hemangioma: Cluster of blood vessels that can show up in the womb or right at birth
  • Tufted Angioma
  • Kaposiform Hemangioendothelioma
  • Pyogenic Granuloma

Vascular Malformations:

  • Arteriovenous Malformation: Blood vessels that are not connected correctly
  • Capillary Malformation: A flat, well-defined birthmark
  • Lymphatic Malformation: Abnormal growth of lymphatic vessels
  • Venous Malformation: Abnormal growth of veins
  • Glomuvenous Malformation: Abnormal growth with glomus cells

Syndromes:

  • PIK3CA-Related Overgrowth Syndrome (PROS): When there is abnormal growth of fat, bones, and other tissue because of a genetic mutation in the cells.
