The ICU manages a wide range of conditions. As part of a Level 1 trauma center, the ICU handles severe and time-sensitive cases, providing rapid response and continuity of care from admission through recovery. In addition to medically and physically critical patients, the ICU also cares for patients recovering from complex cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, and vascular surgery.
