The St George Regional Hospital ICU is a 32-bed unit that provides advanced treatments and personalized care through a collaborative team of intensivists, ICU nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, care managers, and other specialists. Their holistic approach involves working closely with patients and their families to address unique healthcare needs.
Our ICU specializes in caring for Medical/Surgical patients, Neuro/Trauma patients, Cardio/Thoracic patients, and is also able to care for pediatric patients that meet certain criteria. We also care for severely injured trauma patients, respiratory failure, as well as other medical and surgical critically ill patients, that require active resuscitation and treatment.
