What sets us apart

Experienced pediatric providers

All our providers are board certified/eligible and fellowship trained in pediatric specialties. Every year, they treat over 11,000 unique patients. They also perform over 500 neurosurgeries and 300 spine surgeries, and complete and analyze over 3,300 EEGs.

National ranking and accreditation

Our program is nationally ranked in the top 10 for Neurology and Neurosurgery by U.S. News & World Report. We are accredited as a Level IV Epilepsy Center (highest level). Our inpatient rehabilitation program uses Universal Data System for Medical Rehabilitation (UDSMR) and is accredited by Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

Collaborative, patient-centered care

Neurological conditions can be very complex, so it’s critical to have a sub-specialty care team that includes nurse practitioners, nurse coordinators, counselors, geneticists, social workers, nutritionists, physical therapists, and pharmacists who understand the complexities of these conditions. We work together with specialists from multiple departments to ensure that each child receives the best possible care.

Innovative care and latest research

We are committed to providing the most innovative care using state-of-the-art technology and the latest research. Our team founded the Children’s Spine Study Group and co-founded the Hydrocephalus Clinical Research Network. We currently run more than 185 IRB approved clinical studies, including a gene therapy trial for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).

Diagnostic testing

We offer full spectrum evaluations, including neuro-diagnostics, inpatient and outpatient assessments.
