About us

We are proud to offer pelvic health physical therapy for kids of all ages. This therapy can help your child understand and control their muscles so they can manage their bowels and bladder. We use advanced technology called surface electromyography (SEMG) to provide a safe and effective treatment that helps kids gain control and independency.

Benefits

At the base of the bowels and bladder, there's a hammock of muscles called the "pelvic floor muscles." Just like you would flex your arm muscles, you can control these muscles to squeeze or relax. However, with chronic constipation or incontinence, the pelvic floor muscles might not work as they should, and they might squeeze shut or relax at the wrong time. Working with you kid and teaching them how to control their pelvic floor muscles can help improve bowel and bladder function.
